1. Who We Are
Forevered is a private memory vault app developed by Will Riley. Our website is forevered.app and you can contact us at hello@forevered.app.
2. What Data We Collect
Inside the app: Forevered is local-first. All memories — voice notes, videos, photos, screen recordings, written entries, and uploaded files — are stored exclusively on your device. We have no access to any of this content.
On-device transcription: Voice memo transcription runs entirely on your device using the Whisper AI model. Audio is never sent to any server.
On our website: If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address to notify you when the app launches. We use Brevo to manage this list and do not share your email with third parties.
Analytics: We use Google Analytics on our website to understand how visitors find and use forevered.app. This collects anonymised data only — no personally identifiable information.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Email address (waitlist): to send you a single launch notification
- Website analytics: to improve forevered.app
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers
- We do not use your data for targeted advertising
4. Encryption & Security
All data stored inside the Forevered app is encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption — the same standard used by banks and governments. Your vault is protected by a personal seed phrase. If you lose your seed phrase, we cannot recover your data — by design.
5. Per-Export Passphrases
When you share a memory, vault, or play as an encrypted .4ever file, Forevered generates a unique per-file passphrase. Even if someone intercepts the file, they cannot open it without that passphrase. You decide who you share it with.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are based in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email us at hello@forevered.app to exercise any of these rights.
7. Children's Privacy
Forevered is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Third-Party Services
- Brevo — email list management (waitlist only)
